Horse Racing Tips: 4 best bets at Vichy today live on Sky Sports Racing

Hopefully we'll strike with one of these.

15:42 Classical Wave @ 3/1

Moon Dream came from off the pace on debut at Deauville to finish an eye-catching third for trainer Fabrice Chappet. The form of that race took a small knock earlier this week when the winner Healer only finished fourth at Marseille, while the continuing poor-form of jockey Vicent Cheminaud is a negative. CLASSICAL WAVE drops slightly in trip which should suit having got tired over the extended nine-furlongs at Chantilly in March for the Juddmonte team. The son of Gleneagles could represent some each-way value, while Le President is another on the shortlist for jockey Guillaume Millet.

16:17 Kadnikov @ 11/2

Embajadores was in good form earlier this year with a victory at Lyon in January before finishing second at the same venue in February. Porsenna and Iggy Chop are out quickly after racing at Longchamp earlier this week, while Mout was flying home when finishing fourth at Cages latest and is also shortlisted. The consistent KADNIKOV gets the verdict here having ran a good race to finish third at Chantilly in March for trainer Nicolas Bellanger. The son of Henrythenavigator is versatile on any ground and has previously raced well here at Vichy in the past.

16:52 Malecon @ 4/1

Franck Foresi runs two horses in this weak handicap over the 10-furlong trip with Perle Nonantaise and Malecon both declared. MALECON looks the best of these runners to take an each-way chance with this Sunday in a poor contest under jockey Arthur Mosse. The five-year-old landed a handicap at Lyon in February and looks best to follow-up again, while joint top-weight Novercross is another who could make the frame.

17:25 Mandleft @ 4/1

We stay racing over the 10-furlong trip for this three-year-old handicap with a handful of runners in contention following recent good runs. Farout makes a handicap debut for trainer Francis Graffard, with the consistent By The Way under jockey Aurelien Lemaitre two principal runners. La Javanaise for Boudot and Pantall is another you cannot discount, but MANDLEFT is our each-way selection. The filly has ran well finishing fourth and third in handicap company earlier this year. The softish ground and inside draw are positives for trainer Jerome Reynier’s runner.

Vichy Tips summary:

15:42 Classical Wave
16:17 Kadnikov
