Horse Racing tips: Ruby's 12/1 double could cause trouble at Tramore

Cavallino starts over timber in a maiden hurdle after being well beaten in a bumper at Punchestown toward the end of October. He’s a good jumper but may want a further trip in time than this 2m contest. It shouldn’t be difficult for him to run better than he did in the bumper, so hopefully hurdles can bring about some improvement in what looks a tricky race.

Bohemian Birch was a good winner of a 2m 2f Sligo bumper in October, but has to carry an 8lb penalty now. Hopefully, the 2m 5f trip of this mares’ hurdle will really suit her.
