There’s some big teams in action across Europe’s big leagues this Sunday night, so we’ve dived into some stats, studied the form, and crunched the numbers to find value into a four-way acca.

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

The tips are coming to you from a big top-of-the-table clash in Serie A, as Juventus take on Inter; we see if PSG can get back on track as they host Lorient; Barcelona look to build on their stunning El Classico victory against tricky customers Sevilla; and can Sporting keep the pressure on top-side Porto in Portugal.

7.45pm: Juventus v Inter – Under 2.5 Goals

TV: BT Sport 1

We kick off in Serie A where Juventus have really started to flex their muscles of late. The Old Lady have picked up four wins on the bounce in the league, though they have been against some of the lesser lights in the Italian top flight.

Inter are 3rd heading into this weekend, one place and one point against their opponents here with a game in hand. Their title defence has stalled of late and they’ve won just one of their last seven in the league, drawing four and losing two.

This is a tight match that, I suspect, will end in a draw. But, given Juventus’ good form of late, I’ll side with Under 2.5 Goals. Inter’s goals have dried up recently and their 5-0 demolition of rock-bottom Salernitana is the only time they’ve scored more than two for seven games.

Juve, for their part, have been much more free scoring but they’ve seen Unders in seven of their last nine. For Inter, it’s clicked in five of their last six so should be a good play here.

7.45pm: Paris St-Germain v Lorient – PSG Win, PSG Most Corners & Lorient Most Cards

TV: BT Sport 3

To Ligue 1 where champions-elect Paris St-Germain are huge favourites at home against 16th-placed Lorient. PSG have been in pretty poor form, losing three of their last five. However, all three of those came on the road.

Lorient have won two, drawn one and lost two of their last five with both of their wins coming away from home. It would be a push to say they’ll cause a big shock here with any confidence, but as we’ve seen with this PSG outfit, anything is possible.

However, with PSG such overwhelming favourites, I’ll dive into the #WhatOdds Paddy markets for a punt and the one I like is Paris St-G to Win; Paris St-G Most Corners & Lorient Most Cards.

As mentioned earlier, for all their recent struggles they’ve been reliable at home. They don’t rack up tonnes of corners but with Lorient coming to the capital with damage limitation on the mind we can expect PSG to dominate possession, pick up a few corners and draw a few cards from their opposition.

8pm: Barcelona v Sevilla – Barcelona to Win to Nil

TV: LaLigaTV

Barcelona can finally leapfrog Sevilla and move into 2nd place with a win at Camp Nou on Sunday night. The Catalans have been on a sensational run and are now three points behind their opponents here.

Barca have now won nine of their last 12 in La Liga including three 4-0 wins in their last four league matches. Sevilla are slowly giving up the ghost at the top of the table and they’ve now drawn seven of their last nine.

They’re hard to beat, they haven’t lost for 15 games, but Barca are red hot at the moment. I’ll side with Barcelona to Win to Nil at very appealing odds.

Sevilla might be hard to beat but they’re not exactly free scoring. They’ve bagged just one goal in their last three. This Barcelona to Win to Nil bet would has clicked in three of their last four and surely has a good chance again.

8.30pm: Sporting v Pacos Ferreira – Sporting & Under 2.5 goals

Finally, we look at the Portuguese Primeira Liga, where second in the league Sporting Lisbon welcome mid-table outfit Pacos de Ferreira. Pacos have actually been in very good form recently, with four wins in their last five games – whilst Lisbon have picked up 13 points from their last possible 15.

Sporting still have a chance to win the title this season, they only lie six points adrift of Porto, but it means they must avoid slip-ups in routine home games such as this one. Last time out Sporting ran out 2-0 winners away from home.

Pacos have been involved in the least number of goals this season in the league, and Sporting have the least number of goal involvements out of the big three sides. Coupled with the fact that Sporting have scored more than twice just three times since the turn of the year, we’re not expecting a glut of goals. Sporting to win with under 2.5 goals gives some decent odds to what should be a routine victory at the Jose Alvalade Stadium.
