Exclusive – Chelsea players fought over seat beside Poch on team bus

Chelsea - even when they win, they lose

Chelsea players argued over who would sit beside boss Mauricio Pochettino on the team bus following their 6-0 win over Everton, Paddy Power News can exclusively reveal.

Sources claim a 3-minute confrontation involving four players occurred when man-of-the-match Cole Palmer sat next to the Argentine shortly after boarding the luxury coach.

Nicolas Jackson and Noni Madueke were both arguing over the seat when Palmer nipped in front of the pair to cosy up to his boss following his four-goal haul.

Captain Conor Gallagher then approached the group, pointing out that Palmer deserved the seat because he is the only Chelsea player who hasn’t played sh*te this season.

As a result, Jackson and Madueke stormed off to the back of the bus where they sulked the whole way home.

Discussing the incident with Paddy Power News, Pochettino said:

‘Cole sits beside me on the bus. All the players know this’.

‘It’s Cole’s decision if he wants to give the seat up for a teammate. They realise now’.

Asked why the former Manchester City starlet is his preferred travel buddy, the 52-year-old said:

‘He is a great conversationalist, he rarely breaks wind and he’s the only reason I have a job right now’.

Meanwhile, the former Tottenham and Southampton manager said he will discipline Jackson and Madueke after they drew male genitals on a steamy window at the back of the bus.

‘I can’t accept this kind of behaviour,’ said Pochettino.

‘We stopped at a red light and an elderly couple in the car next to us saw the large, crudely drawn phallic member on the window’.

‘When the old lady spotted the member, she began fist-pumping and beeping the horn which led to a row between her and her husband’.

‘Both players have been fined two weeks pocket money over the incident and have agreed to wash the man’s car’.
