Hotshot Jackpot: Four players remain still have a shot at £250k with just one game remaining!

There's 250,000 reasons why Paddy Power is watching Leicester's game with West Brom from behind the couch!

While most of the UK were lighting bonfires and celebrating on Saturday night, there may in fact be more fireworks due on Sunday evening.

Four Hotshot Jackpot players are just one goalscorer away from scooping a massive £250k, so it is no surprise that Paddy Power is watching Leicester’s clash from behind the couch. Red-hot players Jermain Defoe, Bojan, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Harry Kane, Charlie Austin, Diego Costa and Christian Benteke had already obliged for punters earlier in the weekend, and now it has come down to the Foxes’ clash with the Baggies at the King Power Stadium.

So who can Paddy not afford to score? Well each of the Hothshot Jackpot players are in fact on a different Premier League star – Riyad Mahrez, Jamie Vardy, Salomon Rondon and Islam Slimani.

The Hotshot Jackpot has already clicked twice this seaosn, and what are the odds that Paddy will be forking out another whopping sum this weekend? These were the odds before kick-off

  • Jamie Vardy was priced as the most likely of the four players to score in today’s game – he was a 7/5 punt to find the onion bag at any time but wasn’t named in the first XI!
  • Slimani is next at 13/8 in the betting, despite not scoring a league goal since September 17
  • Riyad Mahrez is a 9/5 punt, while West Brom’s Rondon is 11/4 to get his name on the scoresheet

It certainly doesn’t look too promising for Paddy. West Brom have only kept two clean sheets this season and have shipped 14 goals, while Claudio Ranieri’s men have conceded 16 goals this season and have only kept three shut-outs.

G’luck Paddy!
