Golden Sandbanks was only narrowly denied a hat-trick last time and should remain competitive from his revised chase mark but slight preference is for NAME ME FAMOUS. He may have found 2m4f too much of a stamina test when a beaten favourite last time but he remains of interest from his reduced chase mark. Elegant Lass completes the shortlist after her winning chase debut last time out.
15:10 – Benefit Run
It was BENEFIT RUN‘s best effort for some time when beaten half a length at the Galway festival last time. He won’t mind conditions and he’s only 2lb higher for this weaker race. Dollar Value can remain competitive, despite his revised mark, and The Dara Man should appreciate a return to a shorter trip.
15:45 – Broken Ice
It has been a promising start to life over fences for BROKEN ICE (nap) who only found a nice prospect too good at Tramore last time and with further progress on the cards, he should be firmly in the mix. Quaker Island is the main danger if he’s on a going day while The Great White can put his experience to use and continue in good form.
16:20 – Zagnzig
This looks like a good chance for ZAGNZIG to gain his first chase win having dropped to a good mark after a return to form last time. Father Jed has come down to a good mark and similar can be said for Magic Piper who is back at his optimum trip.

Grand Bornand sets the standard on form but he’s hardly reliable at present and it might be worth taking a chance on GLADIATORIAL who shaped with plenty of promise on his chase debut last month. Railway Hurricane can bounce back from an unseat last time and The Little Yank should have more to give in this sphere.
17:30 – Not So Simple
It was a big run from NOT SO SIMPLE over hurdles at Ballinrobe last month and he’s taken to capitalise on his much reduced chase mark having shown promise in this sphere previously. Chief Seattle is a danger to all if he gets a decent pace to aim at in his bid to follow up Friday’s win. Crobally Boy will be involved if he bounces back from a below-par run last time.
