13:40 Estehwadh
It’s possible that one of the handicap newcomers can take a major step forward but on current evidence this looks a good opportunity for ESTEHWADH to follow up last Friday’s authoritative success at Ffos Las. Star Player and Hurtle are next on the list.
WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!
14:15 Cool Party
There’s one newcomer in Kyogo to check out. COOL PARTY and Native Melody were placed on their debuts and there was a plenty to like about those performances, with the former probably having the better form when going down by a nose at Lingfield.
14:50 Genesius
There are notable negatives about all of them but GENESIUS has proved his stamina and ran creditably last time. Perhaps the visor will help with the tendency he sometimes shows to hang left. Eloso has not raced over this far and won just a four-runner race over 1m2f last time but did it well. He may be the chief danger, ahead of lightly raced last-time-out winner City Spirit and the newly visored Greatness Awaits.

15:20 Specrarice
Those seen in action this season are a pretty muddling bunch, which makes it easier to side with SPECTATRICE on her seasonal and handicap debut for Sir Mark Prescott. If no step forward is forthcoming from her, the most likely ones to capitalise may be Gilbert and Nonsuch Lad, preferred in that order, although Rita Rana and Angels Roc also figure in those calculations.
15:50 Blissful Song
This could be tight but BLISSFUL SONG left a good impression at Doncaster in April and might be able to resume with another win. Mellys Flyer scored much more recently and has also won at Epsom, which puts him just ahead of Pablo Del Pueblo and La Roca Del Fuego among the rest.
16:20 Alezan
This looks competitive and a lot will depend on who gets the run of the race, with a large percentage of would-be front-runners in the line-up. ALEZAN looks one of the best handicapped and although she has clocked up eight second places compared to three wins, this second run of the year could prove a good time to catch her. Sir Titan is also well treated, if judged on what he did last year, and his latest outing prompts hope that that level may once again be within reach. Bonus is one of several with C&D form.
16:55 Bear To Dream (NAP)
Some are unexposed but this could be a very weak race and, unless the betting strongly suggests otherwise, calculations are dominated by the dual Brighton scorer BEAR TO DREAM (nap) and July’s C&D winner Whistledown.
