If GYPSY WHISPER is in the same form as when scoring over C&D on Saturday evening then she may be up to defying a 5lb penalty. Hostelry (second choice), Nine Elms and Antagonize head the dangers.
19:25 Croachill
A novice short on numbers but not on interest. Temporize won nicely on his recent AW debut and isn’t opposed lightly but there was plenty to like about the way CROACHILL drew clear over 1m2f here last month and she can follow up over this longer distance.
19:55 Achnamara
A trappy 3yo event. ACHNAMARA hasn’t cut much ice in top-end 3yo handicaps on his last two starts but there have been possible excuses (trapped wide at Ascot, then possibly unsuited by soft at Haydock) and he could be the way to go if recapturing the form he showed when runner-up over 1m6f here prior to that. Animato is second choice.

It will be a bit of a surprise if this doesn’t develop into a straight fight between last week’s winners Eagle’s Way and SHIMMERING SANDS. Both look well treated under a 6lb penalty, with narrow preference for the latter.
20:55 Willem Twee (NAP)
Although this is harder than the maiden he won here last time, the unexposed WILLEM TWEE (nap) is taken to follow up as he looks on a tempting mark for his handicap debut. Lady Raeburn and Dandy Dinmont should also go well.
