Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPs table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

Don’t know what a NAPs table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets). The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the table. Let’s get to the bets.

14:45 Chelmsford – Take A Stand (Telegraph)

It’s possible to construct a case for several of these but the least exposed contender is TAKE A STAND and he can build on a promising handicap debut to notch his first win. Second choice is Ford Madox Brown, for whom the step back up in trip looks ideal, with Beauty Choice and G’daay also respected.

15:10 Tramore – Natural Look (Daily Record)

There could be more to come from NATURAL LOOK. She caught the eye on her first start for the stable at Clonmel and gets in here off the same mark in what looks a weaker race. She certainly has more scope for improvement than a lot of these. Where’s Bunny has reasonable claims, while any support for Latest Model should be taken seriously.

16:37 Ayr – Lituus (Racing Post)

The lightly raced 3yo LITUUS came from a long way back to take third over 1m1f at Carlisle last time out and can post a first win now upped to 1m2f. Acoustic is another unexposed 3yo who could be suited by the step up to 1m2f and could be the chief danger, ahead of Royal Countess and Highlight Reel.

17:20 Market Rasen – Mordred (Mail)

Lady Babs enhanced her good record here when running so well after a break and Awesomedude must go on the shortlist too. However, MORDRED is a capable Flat performer who could be better treated than any of these if getting his act together in just his second handicap over jumps.
