15:40 – Prettiest
Though Star Girls Aalmal and Pearle D’Or rate as bright prospects on what they did in their maiden wins last season, PRETTIEST boasts stronger form, having finished close-up in some of the leading juvenile fillies’ races, and should take beating here.
16:15 – Cyclamen
Even with some doubts about the drop back in trip, CYCLAMEN (nap) could be too good for her rivals here after a big run on her reappearance at Leopardstown last week. Paris Peacock looked promising on debut last year and Affogato is another potential improver stepping up in trip on return.

16:50 – Smooth Tom
It was a much improved performance from SMOOTH TOM at Naas last month and with further progress entirely possible, he could be the one to beat. Moony Beams is a big danger if he can match the best of his 2yo form and any money for Fawkner Park would make that one interesting on debut.

17:20 – Eastern Wind
Level Pitch looks progressive and might be hard to beat after an unlucky third last time but at likely bigger odds, EASTERN WIND might be worth chancing. She looks fairly treated on the best of last year’s form and she’s the type to progress as a three-year-old.
17:50 – The Mpex Kid
A case can be made for plenty of these. Take My Hand should appreciate a return to turf with cut in the ground and Derry Lad was an impressive winner here when last seen. However, THE MPEX KID is the preferred option after his return to form on all-weather 12 days ago and he looks well treated from his lower turf mark.
18:20 – Honeycombe
The Ballydoyle juggernaut has built up plenty of momentum already and it can notch another win here with the well-bred newcomer HONEYCOMB. Her stablemate Kiss You Later is a danger, though, along with Zaniyka, Lakewood, Lyrical Poetry, Caromil and Chatterbox.
18:50 – Startedwithakiss
True Artist has the highest published rating of 81 but looks one to avoid after refusing to race last time. A safer bet looks to be STARTEDWITHAKISS, who showed enough ability as a 2yo to win a race of this quality and it is significant that her owners have kept going with her. The well-bred debutants Bay Of Bengal and Goldfinch are interesting, especially if strong in the market.
19:20 – Rick Dalton
The well-bred Sultanov Swing is of interest on debut for respected connections and it is noteworthy that she is being persevered with, so needs a market check. However, the safer option is RICK DALTON, who bumped into a classy sort on debut last season and faces nothing of that calibre now. Hallowed Star and Needle Lace can run well.
