Flegmatik is the favourite after winning last time out at Kempton but I didn’t think he won with that much to spare. I like Deyrann de Carjac for Alan King. He peaked at a rating of 137 at Cheltenham last year but he’s back down to 129 here. Alan’s horses are in good enough form and Tom Cannon is on board. The drop back in grade will help too.
I can see why Exalted Angel and Lord Riddiford are at the top of the betting. They’ve both had a run this month too. Exalted Angel has won three times on the all-weather track and Lord Riddiford has done it six times. Purely based on having more wins, I landed on Lord Riddiford.
Knight Salute has the best form and he beat Porticello and Impulsive One at Doncaster. I don’t think that was a fluke. If you’re having a bet in this, you’d be smart go get on Knight Salute. However, with antepost in mind, Pleasant Man makes sense as he could be a Triumph winner next month.
Lord North is a very good horse but the only issue is that he’s been off the track for a year. Alenquer is open to improvement after turning four years old so I’m willing to take on Lord North with him.

Pic DOrhy is favourite based on his form and he ran well enough last time out at Sandown. He’s a decent horse but I’m siding with Millers Bank. However, there are worries with this Alex Hales runner. It all depends on his jumping. He’s had a wind operation and if he gets his jumping together, he can give Pic DOrhy a race.
Shallwehaveonemore‘s form looks pretty solid and he’s achieved more than anyone else in this field. I’d say Shallwehaveonemore will probably win this race but I’m not sure I’m willing to back him at his price.
History Of Fashion won off a mark of 119 at Down Royal in January and he’s gone up to 130 in the UK for that win. His best run over hurdles was at the Punchestown festival last year. However, I’m going with Win My Wings for Christian Williams. She stayed really well to win at Exeter last time out. She came from behind to win but she powered from the second last. Going up in distance will suit and cheek pieces are on for the first time. She’s my each-way NAP!
I fancy Phoenix Way for Harry Fry. The step up in trip will suit him and he didn’t go up that much after beating Fanion D’Estruval at Ascot last time out. Fanion D’Estruval franked that form last weekend too. I thought Phoenix Way would go up more so he’ll do me!
