16:40 Starseed
None of these can be backed with confidence, but STARSEED perhaps resented soft ground last time and he had run well here the time before. He edges preference over Source Of Wealth.
17:15 Jungle Speed
A trappy event in which several can have their case argued.
End Zone still has untapped potential as a sprinter and new connections will be keen to recoup some of the 60,000 guineas they spent on him last month. Brunel’s Boy made an encouraging handicap debut at Sandown and can go well, while Bahuta Acha, Bayar and Lucky Lodge all have course and distance form to recommend them.
JUNGLE SPEED hasn’t won since arriving in Britain but he’s dropped down the weights, is effective on Tapeta and may be able to capitalise on the drop into a Class 5.
17:45 Greatgadian
Marching Army could be interesting on his debut for a yard that does so well here, but this will probably go to GREATGADIAN.
He ran a most encouraging debut at Ascot and a Royal Lodge entry suggests he’s well thought of by his top team.
18:15 Dancing Feet
It’s quite possible we’re yet to see the best of Sir Michael Stoute’s Clinician but last month’s handicap debut was underwhelming and preference is for DANCING FEET, who ran a big race from the front when second from stall 14 at Kempton on her latest outing.
That form is backed up by some good Topspeed figures and today’s 2lb higher mark ought to be manageable.
Amber Island was placed over C&D on her recent stable debut and is next on the list.

18:45 Aramis Grey
Although Light Lily is weighted to confirm Yarmouth placings with ARAMIS GREY (NAP), the selection did concede first run there and has since impressed with the manner of her victory at Lingfield.
She looks nicely progressive. Little Downs is the other runner of interest.
19:15 Wild Flower
Something has clicked with WILD FLOWER and, although 0-5 at this venue, she returns to Tapeta in red-hot form having won two of her three starts for Shaun Keightley.
Secret Potion is feared most, ahead of Dark Side Dream.
19:45 Smokey
Red Allure was too strong for SMOKEY over C&D ten days ago but Charlis Wallis’ low-mileage filly is better off at the weights now and could still have a bit more to offer over today’s trip.
Ustath appeared to have stopped the rot when fifth over C&D on Wednesday and will be dangerous if able to build on that performance. Qaaraat and Comeatchoo are others with possibilities.
20:15 Lismore
After getting involved in a battle for the lead, LISMORE was toiling in the closing stages of her latest run at Beverley.
However, that defeat shouldn’t be viewed too harshly, and she gets the nod in the hope she can resume the improvement that saw her win twice on turf beforehand.
Sophar Sogood was safely held on heavy ground last time, but the form of his clear second at Yarmouth two starts ago makes him a possible threat.
