PURPLE LIGHT produced a career best placing third in Listed company latest and has leading chance if replicating that. Money Back is chasing back to back wins after scoring at Nimes last time and a bold bid can be anticipated here. Troiscentsept showed a good level of form when fourth at Lyon Parilly in March and can run well at this higher grade. Paradise Island has run well against softer opposition of late but could run well.

11.35 – Miss Maia @ 16/1

MISS MAIA caught the eye with an impressive success at Le Pin du Haras in October, and while she struggled subsequently she looks likely to improve over hurdles. Queen Davier was an expensive purchase at Arqana as a yearling and is a potentially very interesting debutante.

Alissa has been struggling to find best form on the Flat but can be expected to improve over obstacles. A Babord is an interesting newcomer by Balko and could be worth a market check.

NANOSECOND continues to improve with experience and justified favouritism to score by 2L at this venue in March. She is proven at this grade and rates highly. Gooaaal is seeking a hat-trick after two strong victories. He is hard to fault on recent performances and a bold bid is anticipated. Galant Du Chenet had a successful year in 2019 and was last seen scoring narrowly at this venue. Gochetial is one to consider for a place.

12.35 – James Du Berlais @ 10/3

JAMES DU BERLAIS is a consistent performer in Listed company and showed his credentials with a success at Auteuil in November. He was last seen when second at this venue and must be highly regarded. Mamartre has struggled with jumping errors in the past.

Recent efforts have improved and he claimed a Listed victory at Compiegne in March. Jimble Moon returned after a break when third at Toulouse and can be expected to come forward for the run. Raf Tavel could sneak a place despite inexperience.

13.05 Nimes @ 5/6

NIMES caught the eye with a success on debut at Compiegne and rates highly. He has a leading chance. Yes Indeed made a promising start to his career and is likely to improve for the experience. Shawinigan has the potential to produce a big performance after finishing third on debut over C&D and is open to progression. I’m Walkin’ holds each-way claims based on first career effort.

13.35 Figuero @ 13/8

FIGUERO is an exciting prospect for the new season. He closed last term with an impressive victory in Grade 1 company and can continue to improve. Carriacou was surprisingly disappointing on seasonal reappearance when down the field in Listed company but his previous form is superior to rivals and he can bounce back.

Ebonite started the season with a G3 success and can’t be dismissed. Feu Follet is chasing a double after a comfortable win at Compiegne and has a place chance.

14.15 Bebe D’Or @ 7/1

BEBE D’OR seems well handicapped based on recent performances. He broke through for a Grade 3 success at this venue in November and can make an impact on seasonal reappearance. Deportetoi has a tough task with top weight. He had been showing plenty of ability in Listed steeplechases and could surprise on return to hurdles.

My Maj was second in Listed company prior to a fourth at Compiegne and is a place contender. Saint Anjou returned to form with a success at Compiegne in March.

14.45 Katy Love @ 6/1

KATY LOVE has done little wrong in recent outings and chases a hat-trick. She caught the eye with a 5.5L success at Pau in January and deserves to take on better opposition. Zialight remains unexposed. She was a winner on debut before finishing second at this venue in March and is open to further progression.

Mets La Ouache has been running with credit on the Flat and is interesting upon return to hurdles. Femme D’Action holds each way claims after a fourth in Listed company.

15.15 Fantasia Du Rock @ 9/2

FANTASIA DU ROCK has finished runner-up on last three outings and deserves a change of luck. This could be a good opportunity. Voix Du Soir is looking for a double after a narrow success in a handicap. Returns after a five month break and can make a bold bid.

Santana Du Berlais is used to this standard of competition. Finished third here last time and must be respected. Eclair Du Maffray recovered from a fall when fourth at Auteuil latest and could be interesting.
