We visited the trading floor to get their tips for Cheltenham and Doncaster on Saturday.

Doncaster also hosts an intriguing card with some potential rising stars and Nicky Henderson looks to hold the keys to punting success.

13:55 – Cheltenham

The Caspian Caviar Gold Cup Handicap Chase looks wide open and we’ve got our beady eyes on the Venetia Williams’ trained Cepage. This horse was runner up at Aintree on his seasonal reappearance and looks a very solid bet. Good Man Pat and Clondaw Court are two others we like, and they could be worth an each-way punt.

15:05 – Cheltenham

The 2019 Triumph Hurdle winner Pentland Hills makes his debut in open company taking on older horses. It can be tricky for these horses against their elders and Call Me Lord looks to hold excellent claims in this contest too. He ran a very creditable second to Stayers Hurdle contender If The Cap Fits on his recent comeback and sets a good target for the young pretender. If Pentland Hills isn’t up to it on debut, then at the prices Call Me Lord should be right in there.

15:40 – Cheltenham

A 17-runner Mares Handicap would not be most people idea of an attractive betting heat. However, this contest looks like it can be quickly whittled down to a handful of potential winners. Dame De Compagnie is yet another strong fancy on the day for Nicky Henderson after a very encouraging effort in a better race at this venue in November. We are paying five places each-way and Mega Yeats should be hard to keep out of the frame.

14:10 – Doncaster

Windsor Avenue has looked a very exciting prospect so far, so he looks the banker of the day in our eyes and is one for any multiples over the weekend.

14:45 – Doncaster

Nicky Henderson has an exceptionally good record with juvenile hurdle horses sourced from France and has started numerous top horses in this contest in previous years. His 2019 contender is Tombee Du Ciel and this filly won’t have to do anything out of the ordinary to score on her British debut.
