On Listowel form, Getareason probably has the beating of Easy Game but Getareason has been very disappointing on his last two starts whereas Easy Game ran ok in Tipperary and really improved in Navan the last day.

He’s a course and distance winner and they’re hard horses to get off.

I think he’s in really good form, he probably has to improve a little bit again but he’s going in the right direction.

Here he opposes with Magnium who he just chinned the last day and Gordon also has four runners and then you have Rhinestone and Rhinestone was very impressive in Naas. I think the step up in trip will suit him as well. It’s a very competitive Grade 2 Novice Hurdle but you’d expect it to be. The ground has probably made it the race it is rather than being a superstar in it.

Willie has a few in this. Orion DAubrelle is back from jumping fences. He was disappointing on his last start in Punchestown. Prior to that he won well in Listowel. His last run over hurdles he ran really well in a 3m handicap hurdle in Punchestown so he’s proven he can be competitive off this mark and we think he’s in good form.

I’m on board Calie Du Mesnil. She’s only rated 127 so you’d be hoping she might improve a bit. She wouldn’t want too much rain to fall but we think she’s in good order and will run well in what looks a very competitive race. Squouateur is back over hurdles after having a very unsuccessful time over fences and there’s plenty of horses in there with a chance.

My dad had Batcio and Patrick rides Pakens Rock for Barry Murphy here but I was completely taken by Envoi Allen on his debut in Fairyhouse and I think he’ll take all the beating.

Picking a winner?

Easy Game is probably the better chance of my two on Sunday but I’d be delighted if I could ride a winner.
