Ruby Walsh: This Gorgeous filly can send us home happy at Ballinrobe

A few sore ribs has our top jock down but not out and he runs through Willie Mullins' runners on Tuesday night at Ballinrobe

Listen Dear, 2m 1f Chase, 7pm

She’d a cracking run at Galway where she was caught close home by Show and Go.

Listen Dear looked the winner at Ballybrit for most of the way but fitness told in the end, as she was off the track for more than a year. While you have to consider the ‘bounce’ factor, she seems well at home and I’m disappointed not to be riding her.

Don’t Touch It is rated 1lb higher than her on 145, while Rock the World is on 143 so there’s very little between these three on ratings.

However, Listen Dear won a beginners’ chase around here and likes to front run. Ballinrobe suits those tactics.

Bang Bang Rosie, 2m 7f Novice Chase, 7.30pm

She has a hurdles rating of 116 which should mean she’s one of the better runners in the field.

You could argue Bang Bang Rosie hasn’t ran to her hurdles mark in her last couple of starts but she jumps fences well and did win a point-to-point.

Getaway Gorgeous, 2m Bumper, 8pm

There’s a couple here like Villa Moura and So Lonely who bring a decent bit of form to the contest while Gordon Elliott introduces Sassy Yet Classy.

Getaway Gorgeous goes well at home and is a lovely looking filly who I’m sure has a bright future ahead of her.

On the basis that she doesn’t have to leave the ground – she could be our best chance on the night.
