Second choice is Tallow For Coal, who needs to bounce back from an odds-on defeat five weeks ago but will be a tough nut to crack if able to build on his Uttoxeter run two starts ago. Equus Dreamer should also feature.
15:05 Normandy Soldier
A few of these warrant consideration but the suggestion is NORMANDY SOLDIER, who struggled to get involved in a stronger race than this on his latest outing but made a promising chase debut in November and was a soft-ground course winner over hurdles last season. Favori De Sivola has won his last two and is earmarked as a likely danger. Everything Now and A Time To Shine didn’t hang about for long over hurdles and both have significant potential for improvement on their chasing debuts.

Kiera Royale could follow up her ground-breaking Ffos Las success while Annie Day should find this trip right up her street. She may prove the main threat to MOUNT OLIVER, whose fine Leicester third has been boosted by the pair that finished either side of him.
