A competitive race with the vote in favour of handicap debutant CHAZZA. He showed improved form and a good attitude to boot when opening his hurdles account at Bangor in September and he promises to do better still now handicapping. Breffniboy has been in excellent form of late and is feared, along with When You’re Ready and Ardmayle.
13:30 Rose Of Aghaboe
Her pointing background suggests ROSE OF AGHABOE could have even more to come now chasing so she’s taken to follow up last month’s Plumpton handicap hurdle win. Princess Roxy can build on her Bangor chase debut third and rates a danger, while Secret Court is another who enjoyed success in the pointing field and is an interesting contender having switched to Sam Allwood ahead of this chase debut.
14:00 Isolate
ISOLATE had most of his rivals well strung out when winning a similar event at Taunton and looks capable of defying a penalty. Hey Joe is the obvious threat switched to hurdles having just failed in a Huntingdon bumper 5 weeks ago.

14:30 Flat White
FLAT WHITE wasn’t as good as some of these on the Flat, but she showed more than enough on her hurdles debut at Uttoxeter to suggets that a race of this nature will be within her grasp. Atailof Two Cities won’t be found wanting stamina-wise having scored over 2m on the Flat, and she is next on this list ahead of fellow hurdles debutante Kobra. Fontwell winner See The Eagle Fly is also feared.
15:00 Big Difference
BIG DIFFERENCE pulled clear of a subsequent winner when a good second at Taunton on his return last month and remains unexposed. Boughtbeforelunch remains competitively handicapped and is another to consider along with Bandsman.
15:30 Avoid De Master
This looks ripe for AVOID DE MASTER, who was unlucky not to finish closer when third on his first run in a handicap for new connections at Exeter, and there should be more to come from this six-year-old now faced with a stiffer test. Tango Echo Charlie and Saint Dalina both need to improve in order to defy their current marks, but Shantung looks feasibly treated and she is second choice.
