Fore! The world’s best golfers are set to tee off in the 43rd Ryder Cup and Paddy’s tasked his top traders with pricing up a whole host of special bets to celebrate.

We’ve run the rule over the range of #WhatOddsPaddy punts at paddypower.com/golf/the-ryder-cup-2021 and picked out six of the best that caught our eye.

NEW TO PADDY POWER?

He’s become a bit of a pantomime villain thanks to his beef with USA team-mate Brooks Koepka but it’s worth remembering that Bryson DeChambeau is one of the world’s best. However, the big-hitting American endured a nightmare Ryder Cup debut when he failed to score a single point in France three years ago. We’re offering odds of 9/1 that DeChambeau repeats that feat.

Ian Poulter, on the other hand, is a bit of a Ryder Cup legend. A clutch player. The Postman always delivers for Europe. It was no surprise at all to see the 45-year-old named as one of Padraig Harrington’s wildcard picks and if you fancy Poulter to score the winning point/half (Europe get to 14.5) then you’ll find that available at 33/1.

USA are the favourites to win the Ryder Cup 2021 thanks to the strength in depth in Steve Stricker’s ranks and the competition being played on home soil. Can you see them cruising to victory by winning all five sessions (2x fourballs, 2x foursomes & Sunday singles)? Our main man is offering odds of 14/1 that Team USA manage to pull it off.

Maybe you think Europe can blitz the Americans? They’ve only won all five sessions in one of the nine Ryder Cups since the turn of the century – 2006 in Ireland – and Paddy’s traders aren’t convinced they’ll manage the same this weekend offering odds of 125/1.

There are nine rookies set to feature in the team tournament including Paddy’s pal Shane Lowry, one of three newbies in Harrington’s Europe squad. USA’s youthful roster boasts 2021 Open winner Collin Morikawa and Olympic gold medalist Xander Schauffele but Patrick Cantlay stole the headlines when he won the BMW Championship to land the final automatic qualifier spot. If you fancy Lowry and Cantlay – great name for a cop duo – to finish as the top European and USA rookies then you’ll find that priced at 17/2.

With a handful of par 3s at Whistling Straits and a plethora of big-hitters, perhaps we’ll see a hole in one? At 3/1 you can get the drinks in if there’s an ace.
