Bayern Munich v Arsenal
Champions League match at the Allianz Arena, Munich
TV: TNT Sports, Wednesday, 8pm

This should be a cracking tie. Bayer Leverkusen won the Bundesliga over the weekend and while Bayern Munich are in second position, they’re a whole 16 points behind them at the moment. Bayern rested players over the weekend in their 2-0 win at home over Koln. Leroy Sane didn’t play, Jamal Musiala, Leon Goretzka, and Serge Gnabry, who scored in the first leg, also didn’t feature.

Regards Arsenal then, how will they be feeling? Losing 0-2 at home to Aston Villa was a huge dent in their title hopes. But, saying that, they’re still involved on both fronts but do I think Arsenal will win this? No, I don’t, I think we’ll see Bayern winning 2-1, so I’m backing Bayern to Win and Both Teams to Score.

I’m also backing both Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka to Score, as I think they could get a penalty. Hopefully, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta puts Kai Havertz back up front as that’s where he’s been at his most dangerous, so I’m backing him to have 1 or more Shots on Target because Arsenal will have to chase it.

Man City v Real Madrid

Champions League match at the Etihad Stadium, Manchester
TV: TNT Sports, Wednesday, 8pm

Manchester City will have the bit between their teeth coming into this match with Real Madrid with it being 3-3 from the first leg, they’ll be expecting to do the business at home and I’m expecting them to come through.

Real beat Mallorca 0-1 away from home over the weekend with Aurelien Tchouameni scoring the goal. They played without Rodrygo, Vinicius Junior. Carlo Ancelotti made some changes and he had every right to because they’re top of La Liga by eight points with seven games to play so, they are going to win another league title.

City, of course, were 5-1 winners when they played Luton on Saturday last, they absolutely cruised it. I can see City winning here 3-1 so I’m backing Man City -1 and Both Teams to Score.

(-1)

I’m also backing Erling Haaland to Score, Phil Foden to Score and for Vinicius Junior to have 1 or more Shots on Target.
