Liverpool legend and Paddy Power ambassador Phil Thompson is back in the hot seat to run the rule over his old club’s tricky-looking trip to West Ham. The Reds come into this one following the shock 2-2 draw with Brighton last weekend while The Hammers bludgeoned Aston Villa 4-1 last time out in the Premier League.
With West Ham in the better form, though technically having a much easier run of games, does Thommo think there’s any chance of Liverpool getting turned over? Let’s find out. Here’s Phil Thompson with his West Ham v Liverpool betting tips.
TV: Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League
You look at West Ham last week against Aston Villa and I don’t think it was a great performance. Once the sending off happened they went for it. That’s what I like about David Moyes, he knows when to tweak his team tactically, I think he’s astute, and they just rubbed their noses in it.
West Ham have won eight of their last nine in all competitions, their fans must be absolutely delighted. They recorded a club record unbeaten eight away games in the Premier League which is astonishing for them.
But will they beat Liverpool? I don’t think so.
Liverpool let in two goals against Brighton after being two goals up and Jurgen Klopp came out questioning the body language. I think that will be a wake up call for Liverpool. It’s going to be very tight, I think Both Teams Will Score.

I like Liverpool to Win with Sadio Mane to Score Anytime. Possibly, if you want to put it into a Bet Builder, Michail Antonio to Score Anytime for West Ham.
