Tuesday night is a busy one and we’ve gone through the best of the fixtures on offer to find a fiery five-fold from across the Premier League and Championship. There’s a ton of stats to get into here so let’s get straight into it, first up, a relegation six-pointer where Newcastle host Everton…

19.45: Newcastle v Everton – Both Teams to Score

TV: BT Sport 2

Newcastle had a busy January transfer window bringing in a truckload of defensive talent and former Burnley targetman Chris Wood too. Everton, of course, have Frank Lampard taking charge of his first Premier League game with the Toffees and we should see new signing Dele Alli and Man United loanee Donny van de Beek making their debuts. Both teams are in poor league form as their positions in the table suggest – the Toon have won just one of their last five in the league, drawing two and losing two while at St James’ Park they’ve won one, drawn three and lost one. Both Teams to Score landed in three of those games.

Everton have drawn one and lost four of their last five league games, with BTTS landing in four and over their away trips share the same draw and loss stats with BTTS landing in three. BTTS has landed in all three of their most recent meetings here and we see that trend continuing.

19.45: West Ham v Watford – West Ham to Win & BTTS

TV: BT Sport 3

Burnley and Watford played out a 0-0 on Saturday night where both teams will feel they should have won it. But that’s football and if you can’t score goals you’re not going to win games. West Ham needed extra time over the weekend to beat Kidderminster Harriers in the FA Cup and their form has taken a wee dip of late. Of their last five the Hammers have won two, drawing one (winning it in extra time) and losing both of their most recent in the league. At the London Stadium they share the same record of two wins, a draw and two losses, scoring 10 and conceding nine.

Watford have now gone 10 games without a win, drawing two and losing three of their last five in league competition, sharing the same record on their league trips. The good news for the Hornets is that they’ve scored four over their last five on the road and West Ham have only kept two clean sheets over their 11 home league games this season. The Hammers are massive favourites here and their superior goal-scoring stats should see them taking the spoils. Watford though could well score against that leaky defence so we’re liking the value here of West Ham to Win and BTTS.

19.45: Derby v Hull – Under 0.5 First Half Goals

TV: Sky Sports Football/ Main Event

Derby need to get back some of that form we saw in December if they’re to pull themselves out of the relegation zone. They’re now seven points from safety and with the other teams around them having some games in hand the pressure is really mounting. The Rams have won one, drawn two and lost two over their last five in the Championship while at Pride Park they’ve won three of their last five, drawing and losing one apiece.

Hull have won three, drawn one and lost one over their last five in the league, their away form has seen them winning two, drawing one and losing one. Some interesting First Half stats jumped out at us here: Derby have only scored eight and conceded six over their 14 home league games in the opening 45 minutes of games, away from home Hull have only scored four and conceded eight over their 14 away games. Indeed, Derby have scored just one first half goal over their last five home matches, Hull have scored two over their last five on their road. With those stats we have to go with the value here and back Under 0.5 FH Goals.

19.45: Fulham v Millwall – Fulham to Win and Over 2.5 Goals

TV: Sky Sports Red Button

Fulham stand five points ahead of Blackburn at the top of the Championship table and have two games (including this one) in hand. They’re very much short-odds favourites here with the market giving Millwall less than a snowball’s proverbial. The Cottagers are unbeaten over their last five in the league, winning four and drawing one while at home they’ve won two, drawn two and lost one.

Millwall have won just one of their last five in the league, drawing one and losing three while their away trips have seen them win one and lose four. The hosts rarely keep a clean sheet though – just one over their last seven at home in the league – while the Lions have scored in five of their last seven on their travels. Fulham have been in incredible goal-scoring form in the league, netting 23 goals over their last five in the league. Goals are on the menu then and we’re backing Fulham to Win and Overs here.

20.00: Burnley v Man United – Under 2.5 Goals

TV: BT Sport 1

Burnley haven’t won since a 3-1 home success over Brentford in late October, a run of 10 matches where they’ve chalked up a paltry six points from six draws and four losses. At Turf Moor they’ve been typically tough to beat, winning one of their last five, drawing the other four. Three of those games ended 0-0.

United were dumped out of the FA Cup on Friday night after losing on penalties to Middlesbrough, a game they really should have won in the first half. As is usual with United they’re great for one 45 minutes and awful for another and it usually changes every game which 45 minutes they’ll be good in.

We’re due a good second half here so Burnley will be eager to get ahead in the first and defend a possible lead.

United’s away Premier League games have seen them draw two and win three, score eight and concede five. Over 2.5 goals has only been witnessed in two of the Clarets’ last five at home and in two of the Red Devil’s last five on their league outings. The value is in opposing goals here, we’re going with Unders.
