Frank Lampard’s not making too many friends on the touchline and I just wonder whether it’s because he’s one of the younger managers in the Premier League and you learn that with experience. I do think he’ll get better as the years go on.
Right now he’s up there doing well and it’s how he copes when things are going wrong. You’ve got to get somewhere in the middle. We’ve seen Jose Mourinho like that.
At the moment he’s laughing and joking with everybody, wanting to be everybody’s friend and then he goes wham once they got beat by Liverpool. Frank’s learning and back-to-back defeats would have hurt him greatly.
Monday 8pm: Chelsea v West Ham Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier Leagues
They lost to Everton and then losing in injury time to Wolves, that’s the first time they’ve lost back-to-back games in a year. I do expect them to get back on track.
But, West Ham are made of better stuff these days. They’ve won four of their last six, drew the other night. With Crystal Palace going down to 10 men David Moyes didn’t make the most of it but they’ve scored in each of their last 12 Premier League games.
THOMMO’S TIPS:Because of all that I’m going for both teams to score but Chelsea to win 3-1. A decent bet is Christian Pulisic to Score Anytime. I don’t know who’s going to play up front so I’ll go for Pulisic who I like very, very much.
Football tips: Phil Thompson backing Pulisic to pull the strings for Blues

He’s linked up with the good guys and girls at PPTV once again and Thommo is backing Chelsea to give West Ham the Blues.
