French Open: Slice into this 21/1 Thursday acca from our expert traders

Our tennis traders know every bounce of the ball and they’re back for another day at the year’s second Grand Slam to give us another four fab bets…

John Isner v Heracio Zeballos: 1st set correct score 7-6 – 8/5

This one doesn’t need much explanation – John Isner is a serving machine. His problem is obvious too, he really struggles to break opponents serve. He has only broken in 5.5% of opponents service games on clay over the last 12 months. Zeballos needed two tie breaks in a straight sets victory here last year over the other serve robot Ivo Karlovic, while six of Big John’s last eight matches have gone to a first set tiebreak. Just back the first set tie break at a very generous 8/5.

Kyle Edmund v Marton Fucsovics: Total Match Games Over (+35.5) – 8/11

Last week’s Geneva champion faces the main British hope Kyle Edmund. Fucsovics took some impressive scalps on his way to that ATP title and we reckon he can test Edmund more than the match price suggests. Ultimately, we do think this South African-born ‘British’ man will get the win here, but we do expect the in-form Hungarian do enough to take this match over the 35-game mark.

Serena Williams v Ashleigh Barty: Set Betting Barty 2-0 – 15/8

The GOAT of women’s Tennis returned to winning ways yesterday, but it was fairly unspectacular to say the least. Williams didn’t look like the player of the past and struggled at times against poor opposition in the form of Kristýna Plíšková. We feel Ash Barty will be too much, too soon for the American and it will be a straight sets win for the Aussie to grab more headlines than the famous catsuit.

Shuai Zhang v Irina-Camelia Begu: Total Match Games Over (+21.5) – 8/11

Zhang comes into this match on the back of an easy victory in her opening match at Roland Garros. On the other-hand, Begu struggled in her opener and hasn’t showed much form of late on clay. Between the two players, Zhang’s stats in the last month on the dirt are far superior, so we’re going to give her a bit of respect and back the overs on Total Match Games.
