NEW TO PADDY POWER NEWS?

Can the Browns win state pride in this all-Ohio encounter? Can the Bengals reign supreme as they’re expected? Is this the most relevant the entire state will ever feel?

Here’s a Bet Builder to compensate you for your late-night adventuring.

Cincinnati Bengals to Win

This wasn’t clear-cut. You have to remember that anyone will struggle to keep Cleveland off the field unless they’re limiting their rushing ability on first and second down.

Allow them into second-and-six or fewer and they’re going to run all over you and control the clock.

But with Kareem Hunt clearly on the trade block, I wonder just how much they can truly run the rock with Chubb repeatedly.

Their identity may be slightly forced to alter for cap space and that’s the reality of football. I get the sense that this might turn into a game of making plays, and we know which of these two is best on third down.

Amari Cooper – Over 52.5 Receiving Yards

Given their one-receiver formations, it feels like selling out to stop the run will provide Cooper with plenty of one-v-one situations from rush looks and a single pass could get him this total.

Essentially, when Cleveland commit nine players to running the ball, at least in appearance, it leaves Amari Cooper isolated with a single defender. Brissett may not be the best touch passer in the world but he can find Cooper when he beats single coverage with no safety help.

This, and the fact that if they’re down early, they’ll force him the ball.

Tee Higgins – Under 78.5 Receiving Yards

Hilariously, Tee Higgins looks a superstar just because he never gets double-covered. Ja’Marr Chase will always attract the best defensive back and he’ll have help in the deep part of the field, too.

Higgins sees the benefit of that, but without Chase to distract, he’s simply getting the same treatment as his more-talented team mate, and he should struggle to separate in the same manner.

This will not be the coming-out party many believe it will be.

Hayden Hurst To Score a Touchdown

The thing that people don’t understand is that Cincinnati’s offense is very simple – it’s mismatch based in the short area of the field.

Just because it goes through Chase does not mean that it’s a more-focused script – it means that they believe Chase can beat anyone.

There are no receivers at all who can match that advantage, so their next area of leverage falls at tight end, where Hayden Hurst will almost definitely have the size edge on any defender.
