She may have been a bit below par of late but Engrave is much respected over her favourite C&D. It would be no surprise if she popped up again but the suggestion is VILLALOBOS, who nearly held on at Lingfield last time and is taken to get it right this time. Fellowship could be the one to fill the placings.

17:00 – GEORGE RIDSDALE
This looks competitive for its level. Master Grey is very much respected under a jockey he clearly gets on well with. He can go close again but preference is for GEORGE RIDSDALE, who was a shade unlucky after being supported at Lingfield last time and can gain compensation. Hill Station and Bascinet are two others of particular interest.
17:30 – ATTRAZIONE
Skyblue Expert (second choice) has managed to win a race and he has to be considered with accessories now added. Several have the potential to do better, including Absolute Peach, Secretary, Ok Pal and Cahore Retreat, but ATTRAZIONE is a shade unfortunate to still be a maiden and this looks a good opportunity for her to get off the mark.
18:00 – BEELZEBUB
Baahill is a newcomer of note and the betting should be revealing but BEELZEBUB has shown plenty of promise in his two starts and he can get off the mark at the third time of asking. Sofia Cat (second choice) should leave her debut effort well behind, with Fierce likely to be involved too.

18:30 – TAWALLA
Demi Pointe and The Xo return from long absences having shown promise in the spring. The betting should be revealing as both have plenty of potential. Umming N’Ahing sets the standard but it is not an insurmountable one and appealing newcomer TAWALLA could be the answer.
19:00 – AZANO
Most of these have something to prove on one count or another. Darwell Lion was on the up when last seen but it was 316 days ago and he returns for his new yard off a lofty mark. He may prove up to the task but there are alternatives. Intuitive can go well despite top weight but he would be more appealing at 7f. Baldomero and Excel Power are capable but AZANO is dangerous when able to dominate and this is more suitable than the condtions event he tackled last time.
19:30 – ARAIFJAN
Hit Mac will be popular after his good second at Lingfield on his handicap debut last week and returning to 6f should be beneficial. Ramdon Rocks (second choice) and Marwari also come right into the reckoning but these conditions suit ARAIFJAN (nap) well and he can defy a penalty and follow up last week’s game success.
20:00 – GOOD HUMOR
Cavalluccio could make this less open that it looks if bouncing back after blotting his copybook last time. However, he has a bit to prove after that and it could be worth siding with GOOD HUMOR. John Butler’s gelding has slipped to what looks a dangerous mark and has run well over C&D, so he could come back to form. Holdenhurst is another of interest, while Luna Queen could also have a say.
20:30 – FAR HORIZON
Copperknob has more on his plate than when seeing off three rivals at Brighton in June. He may be up to the task but both Storm Catcher and FAR HORIZON appeal in opposition. Storm Catcher’s return to action at Lingfield last month was eyecatching and he’s unexposed at this trip but preference is for Michael Scudamore’s handicap debutant. The selection travelled well before picking up strongly over 1m last month and this trip can spark further progress.
