It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.
So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets) today. The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the Table. Let’s get to the picks…
15:07 Musselburgh – Shanbally Rose (Chris Wright)
SHANBALLY ROSE was a good second here in February on her second chase start and she returned to form to get off the mark at the 14th attempt at Perth in September under 10lb claimer Dylan Johnston. She’s inconsistent but has to be respected after that last-time-out win.
15:37 Musselburgh – Stylish Moment (Whistler)
STYLISH MOMENT has been beaten 16 times since his two Irish chase wins in 2019 but there have been encouraging signs since joining this yard and he stayed on strongly for a close third behind Court Dreaming at stiff Carlisle last month. Seems fine on slow ground and this marathon trip is well worth a go.
15:52 Chepstow – Voodoo Doll (Postdata)
VOODOO DOLL finished a 12l third when trying fences for a second time in September. Often runs well over hurdles but he’s an infrequent winner these days.
16:55 Kempton – Dancing Goddess (Matt Polley)
DANCING GODDESS’ dam is a UAE 7f/1m dirt winner (RPR 106), sister to 1m 2yo Group 2 winner Ihtimal, half-sister to 7f-1m2f turf/dirt Group 1 winner Thunder Snow and 7f 2yo Group 3 winner First Victory. From such a powerful yard, no shock if this Dubawi filly is a major player.
