A half-sister to classy staying chaser Rathvinden, there’s every chance that NOS NA GAOITHE (nap) will relish the step up to 3m and she can prove too strong for Royal Romeo and Grand Soir.
14:30 – LONDONOFFICECALLIN
Considering he had not run since April, LONDONOFFICECALLIN did well to take second at Clonmel last month. He may go one better now at the expense of rivals such as Veneziano Springs, best judged on a Galway run three starts ago, and L’Or Des Roses, a remote second in his first handicap.
15:05 – KILGOREY
The form of the race in which KILGOREY was second at Clonmel was given a substantial boost by the winner in following up at Downpatrick. He has an edge over Light Parade on that running and is slightly preferred to Corkbeg, a winner on the same Clonmel card with Powerful Blue back in fifth. Beeverstown Bullet has a good chance of reaching the money.
15:40 – IDAS BOY
Though a latecomer to chasing, IDAS BOY won a point-to-point at five and makes plenty of appeal in this company as a 135-rated hurdler. The Goffer also has a background as a useful hurdler and is a young horse who could take to chasing effectively.
16:15 – FINAL ORDERS
Three last-time-out winners clash here along with Golden Sandbanks who has won three of his last five starts, though he had to settle for third behind Low Stye over hurdles last time. Pick of the quartet may be FINAL ORDERS who jumped well when trouncing modest opposition at Killarney.

16:50 – KITTY GALORE
It was only close home that KITTY GALORE was worn down at Galway and, with no hill to climb here, she could take plenty of catching. Fan De Blues prefers further nowadays but at least comes here after a confidence booster and won’t be far away while Espion De Chenet may also be able to contend if back to his best.
17:25 – SPACE TOURIST
While Housemartin is respected after three placed efforts, the finish may be fought out by previous winners My Gaffer and SPACE TOURIST with preference for the latter on just her second start for the champion trainer.
