Expeditious should have a bigger effort in her back at 6f and she is high on the list, while money for either of the newcomers would be worth a second look. Everything clicked for ROCK GIRL at Wolverhampton last week, though, and she may be able to defy her penalty under a very promising apprentice.
18:00 – Al Khazneh
An interesting race despite a small field. AL KHAZNEH finally delivered a finishing effort to match his strong travelling at Kempton 18 days ago and he may be up to defying a small rise in the weights. Pembrokeshire, third behind the selection last time, still has potential and may prove the main threat, although Knebworth could revive back on AW and Royal Mariner, Whistle And Flute and Bailey Gate also have something to recommend them.
18:35 – Lil Frank
Sudden Ambush and Think First can both improve on their debut efforts but those sentiments also apply to Nanga Parbat and LIL FRANK and that pair have already achieved much more. Nanga Parbat made up good late ground over 6f at Newbury and should relish the longer trip but Lil’ Frank chased home two promising sorts at Doncaster where his inexperience was evident. He can take a good step forward with that run behind him.
19:05 – Miss Bella Brand
This is a marked drop in grade for Libertine Belle (second choice) and she is high on the shortlist, while Bondi Girl and Liv Lucky also have the ability to go well. MISS BELLA BRAND has enjoyed a fine time of things in the last 12 months and she might be the answer now back among her own sex.
