WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

But, after six winners split the pot last weekend, all the lovely lucre is landing in just ONE lucky punter’s account today after he predicted the winning horse in our Pick 5 races on Saturday afternoon.

And it didn’t cost him a cent to play! Hot dang!

Saturday’s August 13 crucial results started at 15:00 at Newbury where Documenting (7/2) emerged in the final furlong to bring up winner number one.

That was quickly followed by favourite Strike (11/4) in the 15:18 at Newmarket taking a late lead to make it two from two, before Jumby (9/1) took charge of the 15:35 at Newbury in an impressive showing to best Dubai Poet.

It was then over to Ireland for the final two races, and the Curragh’s 17:15 run really cut down the remaining entrants – from the initial entries of over 35,000, just one was left when Thaleeq (20/1) who won comfortably despite the lengthy price and made it four-from-four for our lucky punter.

Then it all came down to Ducky Mallon (9/1)at the Curragh in the day’s final race who stayed on well in the final furlong to bring home the £25,000!
