14:10 – The Grey Monty
There doesn’t appear to be much depth to this maiden hurdle for horses who have not won any race under rules, with conditions also confining this contest to trainers who have not trained more than 20 winners during the 2021-22 Irish jumps season. Call Her Now is a big contender if coming forward from her Cork reappearance but a chance is taken on fellow point-to-point winner THE GREY MONTY, making her rules debut after changing hands for 95,000GBP. Scenic Look and Highlander Casseul are respected.

14:45 – Level Neverending
Hard to choose between the similarly-rated Chiricahua, who is proven over 3m, and LEVELNEVERENDING but the latter should be okay over this trip and is taken to build on last month’s course maiden victory. Rockanrye won an ordinary maiden at Killarney but has a chance in receipt of a stone from the market principals.
15:20 – Duffys Hodey
The recent form of Porky Rush and Whatsstoppingyou makes them leading players, but DUFFYS HODEY has the potential to find improvement for this step up in trip. He has shaped relatively well in his last couple of starts and is only a 5yo whose best days are likely ahead of him. Dicey Rylee is another interesting contender making a big step up in distance.
15:55 – Tullypole Annie
A tricky affair in which minor preference is for the dependable TULLYPOLE ANNIE, who went down fighting when attempting to double her career tally at Wexford three weeks ago. Any serious market support for Millyinthemiddle would make her very interesting, while Darkened and Run Like Fada hold obvious claims.

16:25 – Midnight Run
This looks a good opportunity for MIDNIGHT RUN (nap) to make the breakthrough over fences at the fifth attempt. This represents a big drop in class from when he was last seen. Provided he’s sharp enough on his return from a 189-day break, he should have too much for Call Me Lyreen, who needs a big step forward from what he showed on his chasing bow at Ballinrobe, and Watch House Cross, one with the potential to be a better chaser than hurdler.
16:55 – Sweet Will
If SWEET WILL can improve in the jumping department, perhaps he can defy a 10lb hike for winning over C&D on his first start over fences. Presenting Point was back in form over hurdles last time and is a danger while Presenting Bonnie loves it here and could stage a revival.
17:25 – Uncle Phil
With State Of Honor declared to run at Tramore on Saturday, this could be at the mercy of UNCLE PHIL who bumped into a smart-looking winner over C&D last month.
