16:50 Centre Court

The market should prove highly informative but at this stage the vote goes to the well-bred Showcasing filly CENTRE COURT, who represents a top yard. The main threat could come from Michael Bell’s colt Indian Dream, who has plenty of speed on both sides of his pedigree.

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

17:25 Reel Rosie

Preference is for REEL ROSIE, who chased home a subsequent winner in a similar race at Nottingham on her return last month and is an interesting contender off only 1lb higher. Second choice is Lucia Joy, who made all in a Thirsk maiden 12 days ago and is open to more progress back up in trip on her handicap debut. The other one on the shortlist is the Crisfords’ well-bred filly Eshtora.

18:00 One Morning

Victoria Grove is a big player on her best 2yo form and is respected back on turf on her return, while the William Haggas-trained newcomer Public Opinion has a striking pedigree and needs a close look in the market. However, the vote goes to Michael Bell’s very well-bred filly ONE MORNING, who holds a Group 1 entry and showed plenty of promise when runner-up as favourite at Newbury on her debut last month.

18:35 Bague D’Or

A competitive race in which the vote goes to BAGUE D’OR, who has won two of his five handicaps and ended last season with a close second at Yarmouth. This well-bred 4yo still looks on a workable mark and he should have more to offer this season. The in-form 8yo Frontispiece is feared most on his step back up in trip. Last month’s Yarmouth winner Contingency Fee is also respected, along with lightly raced Alpha King.

19:10 Aimeric

Special Envoy cost 850,000gns as a yearling and is a striking newcomer from the Gosden yard, while Godolphin’s well-bred debutant Warren Point also needs a close look in the market. However, it is hard to get away from AIMERIC, who sets a good standard on his eye-catching debut second at Nottingham last month and represents a stable that won this in 2019 and 2021.

19:45 Haunted Dream (NAP)

Top of the list is Ed Dunlop’s hat-trick seeker HAUNTED DREAM (nap), who won eased down under a penalty at Lingfield three weeks ago and is a major player again back at 1m2f on turf. Bolthole travelled smoothly for a long way when a creditable third on his handicap debut at Sandown last month and is a big danger if he can build on that. The other one on the shortlist is Bulleit, who has done well over 1m on Polytrack this year.

20:20 Kitsune Power

An interesting race in which the vote goes to Roger Varian’s KITSUNE POWER, who finished well to justify favouritism on his handicap debut at Leicester last month and is open to more progress on this step up to 1m. Recent Bath winner Looe Beach is feared most in his bid to make to 2-2 in handicaps, though Let’s Fly Again had a near miss at Chepstow two weeks ago and he’s respected off his revised mark. Others who could have a big part to play are Giewont and Chief’s Will.
