A slick Saturday of meetings across the tracks in the UK and Ireland awaits – and our nifty NAPs Table is here to give you a steer on the day’s best bets.
The NAPs Table is your one-stop shop with all of today’s top tips from the cream of the British and Irish racing press. The tipsters are ranked by their profit or loss to Level Stakes so you know who has been slinging in the winners and who, er, hasn’t.
You’ll find all of the NAPs by scrolling down to the table at the bottom of this page, otherwise here’s a round up of Saturday’s racing.
Ascot plays host to the last Grade 1 before next month’s Cheltenham Festival. Dashel Drasher is back to defend his Ascot Chase crown but faces XX rivals including Irish challenger Fakir D’oudairies. Grand National hopeful Fiddlerontheroof heads the weights in the Listed Swinley Chase at 2.25pm, while the likes of Does He Know and Brinkley contest the Grade 2 Reynoldstown Novices’ Chase.
Haydock has plenty of Graded action on the seven-race card including the Grand National Trial featuring Bristol De Mai, Lord Du Mesnil and Blaklion. Long Distance Hurdle winner Thomas Darby goes in the Grade 2 Rendlesham Hurdle, while the meeting also boasts the latest Pertemps Hurdle Series Qualifier.
There’s quality action at Gowran Park. Quilixios, the winner of last year’s Triumph Hurdle, will attempt to strengthen his Champion Hurdle claims by scoring in the Red Mills Trial Hurdle at 2.20pm. A field of five, meanwhile, have been declared for the Grade 2 Red Mills Chase including Willie Mullins’ Melon.
The Grade 2 Kingwell Hurdle is the feature at Wincanton as last year’s winner Goshen attempts for a quick double after scoring at Sandown a fortnight ago. There’s also all-weather racing at Lingfield and Newcastle.
