KITTY GALORE was better than ever when successful over fences at Sligo on Wednesday and looks well weighted back in this sphere. Purdey’s Gift and Three By Two are handicap debutants for top yards so could be the chief threats.
15:15 – Bonarc
BONARC has just a single win to her name but signalled she’s ready to go in again when an unlucky sixth at Kilbeggan at the start of the month and can capitalise on a good mark . Cornerkova rates the chief threat on the back of her recent win at the same track, with Lady de Vesci appealing as the pick of the remainder and a solid place prospect.
15:50 – Flying Scotsman
Several with chances in this useful 4-y-o handicap. FLYING SCOTSMAN has a progressive profile over hurdles so he could prove the answer with Mark Walsh seemingly preferring him to stablemate Persia, who could also have a big say. The Willie Mullins-trained Dark Voyager should go well despite top weight, while Gavin Cromwell’s Malina won easily on her hurdle debut and has the scope for improvement.
16:25 – Pythion
Useful Flat performer PYTHION should have more to come on the back of his course maiden hurdle win back in June and can make light of top weight on his handicap debut in this sphere. Silvertown has been placed on all 3 outings this term and should give another good account. Fierami and Dedanann are also on the shortlist.
16:55 – Bleu Berry
Some potentially useful novice chasers on show, but BLEU BERRY made a promising start in this sphere when a strong-travelling third at Galway and can confirm that promise here. Fencing newcomer Buddy Rich rates the pick of the Gordon Elliott-trained duo and is feared most with Birchdale considered too on his debut for Enda Bolger.
17:25 – Le Nouveau
LE NOUVEAU‘s second at Galway on debut is comfortably the best piece of form on show and he’s the sort to improve, so he takes preference over Noble Birth, who may up his game having joined a powerful stable. Navigator Jack is related to a bumper winner and looks the pick of the newcomers.
