STONIFIC is only 3 lb higher than when landing a good prize at Market Rasen in July and his opposition isn’t all that convincing, so he’s a confident choice to land the hat-trick in this sphere. A return to form from the likes of Constancio and Snookered would give the selection something to think about.

PARDON ME is the only one who arrives obviously at the top of her game and is selected to complete a hat-trick. There were slightly better signs from Luckofthedraw last time so he’s feared most.

This will almost certainly boil down to a straight fight between FONTANA ELLISSI and October Storm, with preference for Nigel Twiston-Davies’ charge. The 5-y-o was well on top at the finish when landing the odds at Market Rasen and he probably has more to offer. This stiffer test promises to suit October Storm and he will ensure that Fontana Ellissi doesn’t have an easy time of it.
