STONIFIC is only 3 lb higher than when landing a good prize at Market Rasen in July and his opposition isn’t all that convincing, so he’s a confident choice to land the hat-trick in this sphere. PRESENTING YEATS was well served the increased stamina test when opening his hurdles account at Newton Abbot (26.5f) in July and again ran well, whilst highlighting the drop back in trip may not have suited ideally, when third at Bangor (23f) 9 days ago. This test looks perfect and he can put up another bold showing. Get An Oscar and Aptly Put can also feature.
15:55 Fontana Ellissi
This will almost certainly boil down to a straight fight between FONTANA ELLISSI and October Storm, with preference for Nigel Twiston-Davies’ charge. The 5-y-o was well on top at the finish when landing the odds at Market Rasen and he probably has more to offer. This stiffer test promises to suit October Storm and he will ensure that Fontana Ellissi doesn’t have an easy time of it.
