Newbury is the place to be on Saturday with a couple of Pattern races, while Mojo Star faces three rivals as the Epsom Derby runner-up attempts to ditch his maiden status in the opener at 1.15pm.

Newmarket, Doncaster and Ripon also host afternoon contests on the Flat while Jumps fans will want to keep an eye on Perth from 2.10pm. The day’s racing continues into the evening with meetings at Market Rasen and Bath.

On the other side of the Irish Sea, Tramore hosts the penultimate day of its August Festival as the action switches to the Flat from 4.45pm.
