The action at Leopardstown gets underway with a 7-furlong fillies maiden where AGARTHA can finally score for Joseph O’Brien and Shane Crosse. The daughter of Caravaggio has been unlucky not to have landed her maiden already following three placed starts in recent months. Her second to Sacred Bridge at Naas just over 2-weeks ago reads well after the Ger Lyons trained winner followed up with victory in the listed Tipperary Stakes last week.
A competitive contest for our second race in Foxrock where PRIVILEGE can follow up his Tipperary victory last month on his first start in handicap company. The Jessica Harrington trained runner was slowly away at Tipperary before challenging late to win easily under Shane Foley. A 3lbs rise in the ratings shouldn’t be an issue with the manner of victory suggesting further improvement looks likely despite racing against several more experienced rivals in opposition.
MOSALAhas been a model of consistency for Henry de Bromhead and can return to winning ways in this competitive Premier Handicap over 1-mile 2-furlongs. The son of Kodiac finished fourth behind St Leger winner Galileo Chrome over course and distance last year and hasn’t finished outside the first three-places since.
A much-deserved maiden victory came at Dundalk in January before finishing a neck behind Tauran Shaman again over course and distance here in Foxrock in early May. His closing sectionals when a staying on third (Vultan was second) at the Curragh last month reads well in a race which was dominated and won by the Effernock Fizz from the front under a cracking Niall McCullagh ride.

Aidan O’Brien has dominated the Group 3 Stanerra Stakes in recent years with four victories in the last six renewals of the contest. The Ballydoyle team are represented this year by both Glinting and HIGH HEELS who should go close to victory with Wayne Lordan once again in the saddle.
The daughter of Galileo should appreciate a further step-up in trip following her third-place finish to Thunder Kiss in the Munster Oaks last month. It looks a decent affair with Believe In Love the highest rated runner for Roger Varian and Sherbet Lemon (now wearing cheekpieces for the first time) also representing the British challenge.
