Each and every day of the racing year, we bring you a bumper NAPS Table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

Don’t know what a NAPs Table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets) today. The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the Table. Let’s get to the picks…

13:40 Kelso – Kingston Bridge (Daily Mail)

An open race in which the vote goes to KINGSTON BRIDGE, who stayed on strongly when beating 15 rivals in a series final here last month and could find more progress on this step back up in trip. The unexposed handicap newcomer Billy Boi Blue is feared most, although Dream Boy caught the eye with his rallying effort behind the selection last time and is respected. Idem could be dangerous back at the scene of his last win, while others to consider are Magic Wave and Haveyougotmymoney.

14:05 Chester – Lady Lightning (Telegraph)

The percentage call goes to LADY LIGHTNING, who has the plum draw and looks the type to take well to Chester. Sir Geoff Morgan (well drawn; second choice) and Seraphim Angel are interesting contenders for Tom Dascombe, who has a solid Lily Agnes record (one win, several placed) in the last decade, while Night In Paris has a good chance provided she overcomes a difficult draw. A few others also have possibilities.

15:45 Kelso – Dameofthecotswolds (Racing Post)

In a wide-open mares’ handicap the vote goes to DAMEOFTHECOTSWOLDS who goes well on this ground and is in good form having finished a clear second in a juvenile fillies’ handicap at Cheltenham last time. There are numerous others to consider but Shakeyatailfeather and Linda Moon are the pair taken to fill the places.

19:20 Gowran Park – Quilieve (Irish Sun)

Not an easy race to weigh up, and newcomers Thisoldheartofmine and Hanalia are potentially interesting given the lack of worthwhile form to focus on. It could pay to take a chance with QUILIEVE who attracted some market support on her only start at two and may improve over this longer trip. Ballydoyle’s once-raced filly Iseult Of Ireland may also make her presence felt having had time to mature.
