The highly-tried Heir Of Light didn’t fire on her comeback, but will relish the drop in class. Even so, this could be fought out by Cariba and BERING STRAIT, who claimed minor honours over 7 1/2f here, and Todd Pletcher’s filly has more scope for improvement so can progress past her rival.

Some nicely-bred fillies do battle here and while Two Cent Tootsie and Better With Age have the edge in experience, RENATA stormed home to take second on debut and can go one better. Makisupa, Sundae Smile and Let Them Eat Cake all have place claims.
