Jason Weaver: This 20/1 shot can make the boys Wink at Chester

Kick off the weekend with some TV tips from ITV's very own Weaver Shark

Sandown Park

13:50 The Flyers Handicap Stakes

Lydia’s Place looks to me like a decent each way play in the opener. It’s more than likely the track will suit, considering she’s won five times already, with two of them up the hill at Beverley very similar to this ask today. She’s well enough treated on a mark of 78, and on her is my tip for champion apprentice, David Egan who takes off a valuable 3lbs to boot.

14:25 The Solario Stakes

It’s true Purser didn’t win by far at Newbury, but it was only hands and heels from his rider so we know there’s more in the locker. Masar sets the standard on his Ascot form, but John Gosden has won this recently with two champions in Kingman and Ravens Pass!! This could this be a launch pad for another star…

15:00 The Atalanta Stakes

Nathra hasn’t had had much racing this season, but a look at who’s she’s been in against is impressive. Minding, La Cressonniere- Qemah and Massaat, those are a good notch above her rivals today! She can outclass these and have a very productive end of term campaign I believe.

15.35 The Kalaglow Handicap Stakes

Across Dubai was no match for a Stoute hotpot at Goodwood in a Ledger trial and possibly didn’t stay so I wouldn’t read to much into the fact he was beaten some way. His win over this trip up at Haydock was visually very impressive and the handicapper put him up 10lbs for that, he’s back down in grade here and I reckon he soon will be back up in group company.

14:10 The Corbettsports.Com Chester Stakes

Cape Coast comes in off a cracking second place at Ascot when just failing to beat Bin Battuta by a head. That form has been boosted with the victor only just failing to win the Melrose at York, as it’s a listed handicap the selection sits at the bottom of the weights and the “Mighty Atomb” Franny Norton on top at a track he rides particularly well. He looks like a great option.

14:45 The Corbettsports.Com Handicap Stakes

Wink Oliver finds it hard to win on turf as his record suggests however this track can keep him interested & bring about another turf win, he travels strongly in his races & has been handed the perfect draw in  stall 1, Josie Gordon is the best you can have down at 8stone 2lbs & if he goes off at an  Each Way price he looks a knocker to be in the 1st Three

15:20 The Totescoop6 Beverley Bullet Sprint Stakes

Gracious John is dropping down the weights here as he’s not won for a while, he’s capable of smart form on the front end and that is on the cards as he’s drawn to attack in stall three. He’s a seven time winner and all but one of them has been under today’s rider, he will be sent from flag fall and will take some pegging back around here.

Beverley

3:15 Totescoop6 Beverley Bullet Sprint Stakes

The trainer, Richard Fahey, must of been pulling his hair out last time as Kimberella was making the running and he’s a hold up performer with a smart change of gear. He did well to only get beaten 3L by Washington DC, there is loads of pace in here today and I honestly think the race is going to set up perfectly for him.

Paul Hanagan can jump and sit down towards the inside, push the button at the furlong marker and then collect the prize!! Easy!!
