Willoughby Court led from start to finish to stun favourite Neon Wolf to claim the opener by a nose.

2.10pm RSA Chase – Result

1st: Might Bite 7/2 F
2nd: Whisper 9/2 2F
3rd: Bellshill 5/1

It took a stray horse and a Lazarus-like recovery, but Might Bite brought some much-needed relief to punters by getting up to beat a plucky Whisper in a photo finish.

Cause Of Causes romped home to land a treble in this race for trainer Gordon Elliott.

4.50pm Fred Winter Juvenile Handicap Hurdle – Result

4th: Project Bluebook 14/1

After a very brave run, favourite Divin Bere felt the extra weight going up the hill and just couldn’t hold off the challenge of Flying Tiger.
