The 4yo filly Real Terms looked unlucky when last seen and has to be feared, for all that she’s now conceding plenty of weight to 3yos. However, DABIRSTAR and Eleven Eleven have already shown promise on this surface and can fill the first two places, provided they see out the trip. Olympic Theatre has respectable turf form but looks comparatively exposed, while Secret Glow needs to improve on his debut effort.

15:00 – Star Act

The top two on the shortlist are the comparatively unexposed 3yos STAR ACT and Love Baileys in that order of preference. Daddies Diva is feared most among the older runners.

15:35 – Scale Force

Dropped back to his optimum trip with Ben Curtis booked, SCALE FORCE gets the verdict. Second choice is Samovar, who has bagged runner-up honours in this race for the last two years. Smokey and Qaaraat are also respected.

16:10 – Charlie Arthur

The consistent CHARLIE ARTHUR may be able to dictate the pace and give himself a good chance of seeing out the trip on this surface. He’s a leading form contender back down in grade. Judged on recent evidence Aria Rose is feared most, though strong market confidence behind the formerly useful Speed Company would put a different slant on things.

16:40 – Love Your Work

Khatm is an important player, having completed the hat-trick at Kempton last night. LOVE YOUR WORK is an interesting alternative back over 1m, while Makambe is a solid second choice. Last week’s 6f scorer Wrath Of Hector may get outstayed.
