There’s not long to go until the start of the Paddy Power Golf Shootout and it’s already going off between the competitors on Twitter. Tommy Fleetwood has questioned Harry Kane’s ability and Piers Morgan has beef with Andrew Johnston.
But, with the action set to kick off at 12pm at Centurion Club in Hertfordshire, Paddy’s thrown up some special bets for his big day that will kick off a hectic summer of sport.

Perhaps surprisingly Andrew ‘Beef’ Johnston is the favourite, despite his world ranking spot being 179 places behind rival Tommy Fleetwood’s lofty status as 10th best on the planet right now.
But, this isn’t really golf is it? Take a look at the rules for tomorrow’s titanic tussle. Perhaps Beef’s more maverick style will help him triumph against Fleetwood, the runner up at last year’s Open, and you can see it all completely free on the Paddy Power YouTube and Twitter accounts.

The event is subject to a rigorous, government-approved Covid-19 testing process, with all participants – and skeleton production crew- tested before being permitted to attend.
Outright winner of the Paddy Power Golf Shootout 2020
Andrew Johnston 9/4, Tommy Fleetwood 5/2, Thomas Bjorn 6/1, Paul McGinley 6/1, Carly Booth 9/1, Harry Kane 12/1, Jamie Redknapp 18/1, Andrew Flintoff 22/1, Peter Crouch 28/1, Piers Morgan 66/1
Unsurprisingly it’s our five pros that lead the way. Even less surprisingly it’s Piers that’s expected to finish dead last with whopping odds of 66/1 to take glory.
There is some good news for Piers, though as he’s favourite in two markets. Let’s just check what it is… *papers shuffling*. Oh, he’s the favourite to have the first shank and to swear first while on air.
Some things in life are certain like death and taxes. But is Crouchy doing the robot one of them? We think there’s a pretty good shout and he’s odds on to dust off the old dance moves that helped earn him the status of Paddy Power Ambassador.
Poor old Jamie Redknapp’s 5/1 to pick up one on his famous injuries while there’s a chance Morgan will wear one of Donald Trump’s bright red MAGA hats at 33/1. Harry Kane’s at 50s to be a full kit w*nker. Anything can happen in 2020.
We all know Piers like a namedrop or two dozen and it’s a packed market to see which of his chums he decides to praise or pillory first. Thursday’s target Rudi Giuliani is favourite to be the first of our names to pass Piers’ lips.

It’s golf, but not as we know it: Check out the rules for the Paddy Power Golf Shootout
The Donald is second-most likely, we think, at 9/4 with Boris Johnson at 4/1, though it’s a Johnston he’s got on the mind right now after Beef dished it out on Twitter.
His beloved Kevin Pietersen is 10s, maybe a shout with Freddie around, as is Alan Sugar and the Kane/Tottenham connection, while Arsene Wenger misses out on the top four again at 25s and sixth favourite. Some things never change.
Make sure you don’t miss a shank, swear or crippling injury as the Paddy Power Golf Shootout starts at 12pm over on our YouTube and Twitter accounts on Friday.
