Double Chance – Newcastle & Draw

Newcastle have lost three straight games 2-0. The other two results before that 1-1 draws. Wolves are a tricky side to study with some inconsistent form, so while I’ve full faith in Newcastle to reassert themselves and find their form from earlier on in the season, we’ll cover ourselves with a draw too.

Under 2.5 Goals

Wolves have seen under 2.5 goals in five of their last eight games, Newcastle have seen under 2.5 goals in nine of their last 10. With Newcastle only conceding 17 goals in the Premier League all season, it’s a good pick for this Bet Builder.

Team to have more corners – Newcastle

Under Eddie Howe at Newcastle, they’ve zoned in on set piece control – minimising opportunities to give up goals from corners and free-kicks. And what is the best way to do that? Avoiding conceding corners, and having big towers of centre-backs to deal with them when they do occur.

They tend to have more success with this against weaker opposition – but ran both Man Utd and Liverpool very close in terms of the corners battle. Newcastle to have more corners than Wolves, lock it in!

Player to have 1 or More Shots on Target – Allan Saint-Maximin

You’ll find Allan Saint-Maximin at value in this market, as he’s only managed to score once so far this season. He might only have taken seven total shots on target so far this year, but he is well due another. His pace and direct could count over the 90 minutes as the Toon pile the pressure on the visitors.

Shown a Card – Nathan Collins

Nathan Collins is a sublime defender, he’s shown that on many occasions both for the Republic of Ireland and throughout his young career at Stoke, Burnley and Wolves. He’s only got himself two yellow cards so far this season, and one red card for folding Jack Grealish in half.

For the most part, he’s very disciplined, having only committed 13 fouls in 18 Premier League appearances this season, but with Newcastle expected to dominate the ball and attempt to draw the opposition defence out of shape, Collins looks a value punt for a card.

Home Team Over 5.5 Corners

Newcastle are hosting this one, and currently average 6.7 corners per game in the Premier League. This increases slightly above seven when they play at home, but erring on the side of caution we think that 5.5 will be our magic number.
