8pm: PSG v Juventus – PSG to Win and Over 3.5 Goals
With Premier League sides turning their attention to the Champions League and Europa League this week, we’ll do the same.
First up is PSG v Juventus in Paris on Tuesday night. The French side are flying in Ligue 1 this season (as they should be), with Lionel Messi and Co. winning five and drawing one of their opening six games. They’ve also scored 24 goals in the process and conceded just four.
Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe look unstoppable so far this campaign, with the trio racking up 17 goals and 12 assists in Ligue 1. PSG welcome Juventus on Tuesday, with the Italian outfit struggling to get going this season. They’ve drawn three of their five Serie A games and they could find it hard to contain PSG’s front three.
We like the look of PSG to Win but we’re adding in Over 3.5 Goals to boost the odds. Juventus could score but we fancy PSG to bag a few.
8pm: Benfica v Maccabi Haifa – Benfica -2
Next up is Benfica v Maccabi Haifa, which sees the Portuguese Premier Liga leaders host the Israeli Premier League champions.
Benfica are dominating in Portugal this season and they’ve won all five of their league games, scoring 13 goals in that period.
They’ve also been solid defensively having conceded just three goals in the league.
We like the look of a home win but we’re being bold and backing Benfica -2 on the Handicap. They should have too much for Maccabi, who are up against it in their Champions League group alongside Benfica, PSG and Juventus.
8pm: RB Leipzig v Shakhtar – RB Leipzig to Win and Over 3.5 Goals
Now we’re in Germany for RB Leipzig v Shakhtar.
The home side are struggling in the Bundesliga this season and the arrival of the Ukrainian outfit could be exactly what the doctor ordered.
Leipzig are 11th in the league after winning just one of their opening five fixtures. As for Shakhtar, they’re second in the Ukrainian Premier League after three games.
We’re keen on Leipzig to Win but we’re adding in Over 3.5 Goals. The German side should come out on top but they’ve been shipping goals this season so both sides should have plenty of chances.
8pm: Celtic v Real Madrid – Real Madrid to Win and Over 2.5 Goals
Finally, we’re focusing on Celtic v Real Madrid. Last season’s Champions League winners Real have started their campaign with a bang after winning the UEFA Super Cup and racking up four consecutive La Liga wins.
The Spanish side have scored 11 goals in those four games, with Karim Benzema and Vinicius Junior both netting three times.
Celtic come into this one on the back of their 4-0 win in the Old Firm derby against Rangers. The home crowd will be fully behind their side, who are top of the Scottish Premiership after winning their first six games.
Despite Celtic’s solid form in the league, playing Real Madrid is a different level. We like the look of Real Madrid to Win and Over 2.5 Goals to wrap up our acca!
