Liverpool FC great turned Paddy Power ambassador Phil Thompson has got the abacus out to work out how many goals his beloved Reds are going to beat Norwich by this weekend. The pair meet in the Premier League at 3pm on Saturday and Norwich are a humungous price to triumph.
Value might be a little hard to come by but our Phil has, as always, managed to unearth a decent-priced punt or two for your consideration. So, here’s Thommo’s Liverpool v Norwich tips.
Is the title gone for Liverpool? Not when they’re in this sort of form! You’re looking at it and Liverpool seem to be one of those runs, as Manchester City are, and Liverpool have that game in hand. It’s coming next week against Leeds.
Could it be down to six points and with the game at The Etihad to come? It is still there for Liverpool. City are playing with so much confidence but I think having somebody breathing down their neck might just rattle their cage a little bit. It’s not over!
This game at Anfield, you would like to think this is going to be Liverpool’s game if they get things right. They had a great result in midweek for them at the San Siro against Inter Milan. Fantastic result.
Liverpool have now won their last seven games scoring 16 goals. They’re unbeaten at Anfield in 24 games in all competitions. Liverpool have won the last five meetings with Norwich in all competitions, scoring 16 goals.
Norwich are the lowest scorers in English football. They’ve only scored 14 goals. As you can imagine I’m going for Liverpool to Win to Nil so it’s picking a score line. I’ve actually gone for 3-0 to Liverpool and Sadio Mane to Score Anytime.
Diogo Jota’s been my favourite of late and he’s another one who we’ve won on, but I’m not sure he’s going to play. Sadio Mane to Score Anytime.
Football Tips: Thommo’s 5/1 pick heads his 3 Liverpool v Norwich best bets
Think it's fair to say this should be quite one sided.
