Villa Draw No Bet – 6/5
It’s been a tale of hard luck so far for Aston Villa. They were surprisingly competitive away to Spurs and played pretty well at home to Bournemouth after conceding a couple of sloppy early goals.
Everton, on the other hand, have been pretty mediocre so far in their first two matches and were somewhat fortunate to beat Watford 1-0 last week. I remain to be convinced by Marco Silva and I wouldn’t be surprised if he came under pressure for his job before the Christmas period.
I’d have Villa a bit shorter than their current price, so they look worth a bet.

New Villa signing Bjorn Engels has an excellent goalscoring record for a centre half, with 16 goals from 132 career appearances and he nearly netted last week against Bournemouth.
Everton didn’t defend set-pieces well last season and the Belgian should go close at a very decent price.
He’ll need a look of minding when Villa have a dead-ball opportunity.
Tyrone Mings to be carded – 7/2
I’m expecting Moise Kean to start up front for Everton and he should provide an upgrade from the very limited Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
The former Juventus man’s pace and dribbling will discomfort Villa’s centre-halves.
We all know Tyrone Mings’ is prone to the odd rash challenge, so 7/2 looks a reasonable price for him to see a flash of yellow from referee Michael Oliver.
