Make it a wonderful Wednesday with this 22/1 European acca

Leicester City and Manchester United are on their travels tonight

Phew!! Tonight’s action in the Champions League and the Europa League has a lot to live up to after last night’s goal bonanza in Europe.

While that is asking a lot, we still believe that – with Premier League outfits Leicester City and Manchester United playing in their respective European competitions  – we’ll get a night to remember.

Between the two UEFA tournaments we’ve been handed five tasty ties and if you fancy getting stuck into those we decided to break them down for you. Our probe into the games has seen us emerge from the odds rabbit hole with an acca that could deliver for our customers at just over 22/1.

All the best Football odds are on PP.com

Saint-Etienne v Manchester United, BT Sport 3, 5pm

You’d nearly be forgiven for forgetting that an actually Europa League match took place last week, as it seemed more like a Pogba family reunion at times.

On the field though a Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s hat-trick at Old Trafford has probably put this tie to bed already and you can expect a raft of changes on both sides, but their recent runs only suggest one winner here.

The French home outfit have lost 4 of their last six, while Jose Mourinho have claimed four victories on the spin – only conceding one goal in the process.

We’re looking at an away win for The Red Devils at 23/20 as the only way open our accumulator for tonight’s action.

Sevilla v Leicester City, BT Sport 2, 7.45pm

What can you say about this season for Claudio Ranieri’s Leicester City that hasn’t already been said, or in this case written?

If the club were not involved in a relegation scrap and happened to be six or 7 points better off in the Premier League, then tonight’s game against Sevilla might be their biggest ever game. However, with the money that’s on offer to stay in England’s top tier, can you really say that match is more important than getting three points off Liverpool next Monday night?

These are the questions Ranieri has to ponder now, but it may be all academic after tonight anyway because they face a Sevilla side utterly flying in third position in La Liga.

Leicester have only won once in eight of their last outings and we just can’t envisage them bucking that horrific trend tonight. Take the home side at 4/11 tonight and we would put you off looking at the handicaps either – sorry Claudio!

Best of the rest

The night’s other Champions League tie sees a get together of the ‘Classic Goalkeepers Club’ as Porto – with Iker Casillas in tow – host Juventus, who still have the great Gianluigi Buffon guarding the net.

The duo have got more caps than you’d see at an Eminem concert and we fancy them to live up to expectations tonight to deliver an 11/5 stalemate at the Estádio do Dragão tonight.

Dipping back into the Europa League we travel to Germany, as Schalke 04 take on Greek outfit POAK. After a 3-0 defeat to their opponents in at home in Thessaloniki last week, you’d have to consider this tie finished – pick Schalke at 2/5 here.

Our last contest of the acca features a finely posed contest, as Russians FK Krasnodar head to Turkey with a 1-0 lead to defend against Fenerbahce.

We’re backing the fine home record of the Turks here at 8/11 for this one, as they haven’t lost a home outing since all the way back in November.

Acca summary: Wins for Man United, Sevilla, Schalke and Fenerbahce with a draw between Porto and Juventus.
