The lads think it’s going to be difficult for Leeds to get anything against the Reds but where do Thommo and Jason think the value lies?

Leeds just like to attack and it can hurt them. We saw it against Manchester United, who ended up hammering them at Old Trafford. Leeds fans will have been waiting for these sort of big games and they’ll be roaring the players home and urging them to attack.
That will give us a great game. There’s been 12 goals in Leeds’ three Premier League matches so far and I expect more of the same. I’m going with Liverpool to Win and Both Teams To Score.
Mo Salah always has a chance of scoring but I’m going to back Sadio Mane to Score First. He’s started the season really well. He lost a lot of confidence last season but he’s back now and that definitely boosts Liverpool’s title chances.
I don’t see Mane, Salah, Diogo Jota or Roberto Firmino missing as many chances as they did last year. Liverpool have had the most attempts in their first three Premier League games with 70. For me, Mane offers better value to be the First Goalscorer.
JASON
Liverpool are a good price to win this one. We all know about Leeds’ pressing which is effective but against the big six, their record was awful. A quality defender who’s comfortable on the ball can handle that Leeds press better. Once you get beyond it, there’s an ocean of space to take advantage of.
Salah is always going to be the betting favourite to score, partly because he’s on penalties. The majority of the big chances this season have fallen to Mane. However, I’m going to go with Jota to Score First. He’s a great price and he could easily get on the end of a chance against Leeds.
