We’ve given away over £115m to football punters in the last year

We're just giving it away

It might feel like it was only yesterday that Jack Grealish was stumbling around the streets of Manchester celebrating City’s treble – and maybe it was cos we’re not sure he’s let up since early June tbh – but the Premier League is almost primed and ready to go for the 2023/24 season and Paddy thought that was the perfect time to remind everyone just what a generous fellow he is.

And then he saw the figures and had to lie down in a darkened room for a looooooong time.

MANCHESTER, ENGLAND – MAY 20: Manchester City supporters celebrate their side winning the Premier League title with a cardboard cutout of Josep ‘Pep’ Guardiola, manager of Manchester City, wearing a Viking-themed helmet featuring the name of Erling Haaland following Arsenal’s 1-0 loss away at Nottingham Forest, at Etihad Stadium on May 20, 2023 in Manchester, England. That’s because, in total, the Punter’s Pal has given away over £100,000,000 to football bettors in the last year!

That’s more zeroes than Al Hilal’s contract offer to Kylian Mbappe – okay, only per week, but still.

A frankly preposterous £38.2m was just given away through Paddy’s Rewards Club free bets alone – if you haven’t opted in by now I’m not mad, I’m just very, very disappointed. *shakes head*

There was also the small matter of £13.6m handed over to our plucky punters through our acca insurance offers across multiple leg bets when one of their bets scuppered a big win.

That meant they got a free bet to make up for the disappointment. No one can say we’re not thoughtful.

And we stumped up a cool £22.3m in COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY FREE Bet Builders.

For nothing, like.

Just completely free for you to place. Madness.

And let’s not forget the £2.4m forked out through Beat the Drop and £2.7m on our 2 Up You Win offer – where if you back a team that goes 2 goals up we pay out immediately on them to win, even if they bottle it.

Very popular on Spurs games that one.

But none of these were even the biggest freebie bonanza of the year for us because we also dropped £38.8m through our Turbo prices alone over the year.

We could’ve spent that money on buying Jordan Henderson to play for our five-a-side team on Wednesday nights but we decided to give it to you instead.

In total, by our calculations we’ve given away over £115m to you on Premier League offers and promotions in 2022-23, and it’s only going to get better this coming campaign with more markets, more bet builders, and more chances to get one over on the most generous bookmaker that ever lived. Probably.
